Meet our MakerBot

MGC has recently purchased a new 3D printer. This printer allows for larger and more complex designs to be created. Our printers are waiting for you to create 3D objects which we can print for you, for free and you can collect to keep! (Keep your eyes out for some 3D Jewellery workshops!)

As a refresher for our new students, head to www.tinkercad.com to design your creation and then email Anthony.keen@mgc.vic.edu.au  the .STL file for printing, we will then let you know it’s ready for collection.

• We prefer you create your own rather than sending through other people’s designs from the internet. Some ideas are (which you can google for inspiration such as : https://www.thingiverse.com/)

• Veggie Toys
• Whistles
• Balloon Powered Cars
• Chocolate and Ice Moulds

Have fun designing and remember, your finished design can be emailed in but only in .stl format
