Please mark them in your calendars

Parents/carers are welcome at our NCS Primary and Secondary Cross Country Carnivals - Thursday 25 March 2021

Primary 8.35am - 10.25am | Secondary 10:45am - 12.25pm

We are delighted to be able to invite parents/carers to our School Cross Country this Thursday and recognise that your enthusiastic presence will add greatly to the exciting atmosphere that always accompanies this event. Please read the important information below prior to attending.

A COVID-safe event

  • We will have a COVID Marshall in attendance to provide guidance and direction as you arrive.
  • There will be a designated area for all spectators, positioned in such a way that will allow you to be close to all of the ‘action’. For your personal comfort, we do encourage you to consider bringing a fold-up chair with you if you so desire.
  • When arriving at school, all parents and carers are requested to park in the main carpark area as per usual and follow the guidelines below in relation to the relevant event you are attending:

    Primary Cross Country (8.35 – 10.25am):
Parents and carers will not be required to enter via Reception. Instead, you can make your way directly to the spectator area. You will see signage and NCS staff who will direct you to the entry gate, located in the newly fenced area on the Eastern side of the carpark near the vegetable garden. As is required by our COVID-Safe plan, all spectators will be requested to scan in using the Services NSW QR Code. This scanning process will be able to occur at the entrance gate to this event.

    Secondary Cross Country (10.45am – 12.25pm):
After parking, parents and carers arriving for this event are to head towards the Reception area. Here you will be able to scan in using the Services NSW QR Codes displayed on the signage outside Reception. When you have done this, you will be able to follow the signs that will take you to the designated spectator area for this event.

  • In accordance with our COVID-19 policy, students who are unwell are not permitted to attend school and school events.

What should students wear?

Primary - All students must wear their school sports uniform to and from school but may change into a t-shirt in their house colours for the event.

Secondary - All students must wear school sports uniform to and from school but may change into suitable protective clothing in house colours for their races.

  • Blackhawks = green and black
  • Sea Kings = purple and white.

See you there!

We look forward to your company at one or both of these events and trust that you will have a most enjoyable time as you support your child/ren and enjoy the company of other parents/carers on this day.
