Years 5/6 News ~ Student Leaders Announced
After an exhausting process which began back in November 2020, the senior student leaders were announced today. Congratulations to the following students; Sylvie Keogh (Social Justice), Jakob Parker (Vice Captain, Wellbeing), Sienna Rechichi (Sport and PE), Oscar Azzarone (Sport and PE), Nicola Lyons (The Arts), Anni Mai (Captain, WellBeing), Harry Boubis (ICT), Ankita Das (Environment), Thomas Kaszubski (Captain, WellBeing) and Hanna Pham (Vice Captain, Well Being).
We are excited at the prospect of seeing these young people grow and develop in these roles in 2021. We are confident that they will be supported by their peers to improve our school.
Years 2/3/4 News
This week students have been planting seeds. Teachers and students have been collecting the Woolworths Discovery Garden Pots to start our own garden. Yesterday we planted the seeds and once they have started to grow, we will plant them in the planter boxes in the school yard. Students will record the different stages of the growth of the plant.
Aleisha: On the tenth of March we were planting the discovery garden and I was happy to experience this as I had never done this before.
Roery: My plant (lettuce) will grow soon.
Lily the Lizard (Gecko)
On Tuesday, Jacob found a lizard in the school garden and thought it would be a great class pet. We found a container for his home and made sure that he had leaves, flowers, tan bark and some insects for food.
