Covid-19 and cold symptoms.

Guidelines from DHHS ask any student or staff member with cold symptoms must remain at home and seek advice from a healthcare professional regarding a Covid test. You must remain at home until symptoms reside even with a negative test.

Action plan reminder. If your son has asthma, anaphylaxis, allergic reactions or diabetes please ensure you provide an updated 2021 plan to the College or update it on Operoo.

For other specific medical conditions requiring special care while at school please provide a   care plan from your treating doctor.

Medications at school.

For the safety of all students any medications which are needed during school hours must be given to the first aid office or reception at Bentleigh East campus with a completed medication form for safe keeping. The student must attend the first aid office or reception at the appointed time to receive their medication.

The exception is an asthma puffer for students who self- manage their asthma.
