Its been a busy term for School Sport. We have had the School House Athletics and Swimming Carnivals. ACC Athletics Carnival and Senior Term 1 ACC sport. It has been great to have the students back participating in healthy competition. Judging by participation numbers and the enthusiasm displayed, our students have clearly been missing this part of school life.
House Carnivals
Well done to Benilde and Solomon who won the Mentone Junior and Senior carnivals respectively. Congratulations to everybody who participated on the day(s).
Term 1 ACC
It is great to have ACC sport back on the school calendar. Senior Cricket, Tennis and Volleyball have all made positive starts to the year. All teams remain in contention for semi-finals. Thank you to all students and staff who are representing our College with distinction.

ACC Athletics Carnival
After missing last years carnival it was great to be back at Lakeside stadium competing against the 12 ACC Colleges. It was also the first time St Bedes College was represented by students from both Mentone and Bentleigh campuses.
The effort and spirit shown by the team was a highlight of the day. We finished the competition in 4th place, however, were not far away from the eventual winners in Parade College. Well done to all students who were selected in the team. Congratulations to the Senior students who won the senior cup. It’s the first time since 2011 we have won this trophy. Special thanks to the Captains Finn Callaghan and Tom Murphy who led the team with distinction.
There were many highlights but winning the final two events of the day the open 4 x 100m relay and the 4 x 400m relay demonstrated the talent and effort shown by our Year 12 students.
