2021 SCHOOL CAPTAINS

It is with pride and pleasure that The Lakes South Morang College announces the school’s first ever School Captains – as Year 11 students.

Hello my name is Emily F., I am your 2021 School Captain. I look forward to improving my skills and sharing student voices as well as my own to better our school. This position will widen my organisational skills and with being in Year 11 my time will be tested with a significant increase of work load. I will find and make time for this opportunity as well as striving to motivate others to do better as well as myself. I look forward to being your School Captain for 2021. Thank you.

Hi, I’m Jakob P., your other School Captain for 2021. After a year of being stuck inside with my ideas I decided to apply for School Captain. I thought I had plenty of new ideas to bring forward to our school, as well as my aspiration to improve my public speaking and time management skills. One of the ideas I had was a way to get in contact with partnering schools’ captains to see what they do differently to us and see if we can learn from each other and implement new ideas at The Lakes. Thank you very much for this opportunity and I can’t wait to see what we get up to in 2021.
