Absences

Please report all student absences via the Sentral Parent Portal.

Student Medical Appointments

The procedure for students who need to leave early for a scheduled medical appointments:

  1. Alert / advise the class teacher re scheduled appointment and student absence time
  2. Class teacher sends the student to the office to logout at Sentral Kiosk
  3. Parent phones the Admin office from Churinga Ave gate entrance
  4. Office staff escort student to the gate to meet parent
  5. Upon return, student reports to the office to log in to Sentral Kiosk
  6. Student returns to class

Please remember that all adults are to adhere to COVID-19 health protocols including physical distancing and a mask to be worn at all times.

Hayfever Management

Just a friendly reminder that should your child suffer from hayfever please consider giving them their antihistamine before coming to school as we are coming into a high pollen season.  If your student requires antihistamine during the day we require a full colour ASCIA Allergy Plan and the required medication before we can administer here at school.  We can supply a blank ASCIA Plan should you have any trouble downloading one from the ASCIA website.

Eczema School Webinar

The next Eczema School session is coming up on the 21st October 2020. 

 

Eczema affects 5-20% of children worldwide. Run by the Department of Dermatology at Eastern Health, the Eczema School aims to provide up-to-date information and strategies regarding the management of eczema and related topics relevant to parents. These are free information nights where experts in the field provide valuable insights. 

 

The topic for this next session is Topical Steroid Safety and Treatment Update presented by Prof John Su (Head of Dermatology at Eastern Health) and Dr Louis Chan (Dermatology Research Fellow). It is also a unique opportunity for participants to share experiences and ask questions in a supportive environment.
