Level 3/4
Level 3 & 4 News
Welcome back to Term 4! We hope you were able to have a restful and relaxing holiday break, and spend time enjoying the beautiful spring weather. The Level 3 & 4 team have been busy as bees preparing for the students’ return to school this week. The first week will be filled with exciting, fun-filled theme days to welcome the students back, and focus on reconnecting as classes and transitioning back into onsite learning.
This term in Level 3, students will continue with their Flora and Fauna sessions, and we’re ecstatic to be getting back into the school garden! Our brand new inquiry topic will be a special focus on investigating the rich culture of our nation’s Indigenous peoples, Aboriginals and Torres Strait Islanders. With big focuses on Numeracy and Literacy too, we’re excited to get stuck into a fantastic term with the students!
In Level 4 this term, students will take a fascinating deep dive into the history and journeys of some world renowned explorers! We are continuing our eSmart focus as students work towards their own digital licences, and excited to check out some coding throughout the term too. There are some exciting incursions planned in the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more information. We can’t wait to share all the exciting learning we have planned with our classes!
As a team, we are so incredibly proud of the students and the determination, resilience and growth mindset they have shown and developed throughout the unique challenges of Remote and Flexible Learning. The support, patience and understanding we have received from the Level 3 & 4 parent community has been overwhelming throughout these unusual times, and we can’t thank you enough. You are all super heroes to us!
We can’t wait to share all that this exciting term has to offer with you in the coming weeks and months! Stay healthy and safe, and look after one another.
