SHEP
A big congratulations to our middle school instrumental students who have been selected to attend the State Honours Ensemble Program (SHEP) on the 23rd - 25th October. This is an amazing opportunity for our young musicians and they will get a lot out of the program.
ST MARY'S DAY
It was great to see some of our Instrumental Music students performing at our annual St Mary's Day concert on the 12th August, this is a wonderful opportunity for our students to perform to a large crowd, for many this was their first time doing so.
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC LESSON ENROLMENT
It's not too late this year to consider learning an instrument! We will be taking on new enrolments again next term. These lessons take place during school time, and the lessons are on a weekly rotation so our students don't miss the same class lesson each week.
We offer tuition for a large variety of instruments including Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Percussion (including orchestral and mallet percussion), Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Guitar, Piano, Rock School (which includes contemporary Voice, Keyboard or Guitar) and Classical Voice.
Enrolment forms are available on the St Mary'swebsite, from the information board in H8, or please see one of our friendly instrumental teachers in the IM staffroom in B9 for a copy.
