YOUNG VINNIES - ST VINCENT DE PAUL WINTER APPEAL

For people in financial difficulty, winter is an especially difficult time. We take for granted a warm bed, Ugg boots and heaters, but there are many people in the Perth community without the items that make winter bearable.

At this morning's Whole School Assembly, the Young Vinnies group launched the annual Winter Appeal. We are asking the school community to help people who are much worse off than we are by bringing in warm winter clothes, baby clothes, blankets, doonas and sleeping bags that are all in good, usable condition. It’s a great opportunity to look through your wardrobe for items that you no longer wear or have outgrown. Embrace the spirit of giving by donating to someone less fortunate than you. We are also asking that you give with dignity - if you wouldn’t wear something because it’s old and tattered, then please don’t offer it to someone else.

This appeal will run until Thursday 30 June.

Your donated items can be put in the collection bales which are set up next to the lockers outside the Health Centre.

KIMBERLEY MISSION DEMOCRACY SAUSAGE FUNDRAISER

A reminder that the 2022 Kimberley Mission team will be running a sausage sizzle stall at the College's Federal Election booth tomorrow. We will be there from 8:00am - 4:00pm, or until we run out. We would love if you could come down and support us if you are in the area.

KIMBERLEY MISSION 2023 INFORMATION EVENING

The College is now accepting expressions of interest from current Year 10 students who are interested in the 2023 Kimberley Mission. As part of the selection process, students intending on applying must complete an Expression of Interest Form (below) using their CEWA (school) account AND attend the Kimberley Mission Information Evening at 6:30pm on Tuesday 21 June in the RNDM Chapel.
