ACC YEAR 7 SUPER SERIES

Last week, the ACC conducted the annual Year 7 Super Series. This competition was open to all schools in the ACC in a number of sports. Sacred Heart were represented in boys and girls basketball, boys and girls soccer and girls netball. 

All teams performed well, but the standout performance came from the girls basketball team. The team went through the pool rounds undefeated and saved their very best for the final with a whopping 45 -7 win over Mater Dei. The quality of play left spectators in awe of their ability and team work. 

Well done to all teams.

NAS FIXTURES - WEEK 5

A reminder to parents/caregivers that NAS, our inter-school sport competition, commences next week (Week 5). Students had the opportunity to trial for a position on a NAS team earlier in the year. All games occur after school, either at home or away. Transport to and from external venues is provided by the College.

Students playing away are asked to leave class at 3:00pm to catch the bus. Students playing at home are to leave class at the usual time (3:30pm) and meet with their team on the relevant court/oval.

Year 7s and 8s play on Tuesday and Year 9s and 10s play on Wednesday. A fixture for each week will be published in the Newsletter, along with the results.
