Year 11 Camp

Lake Dewar

The Year 11 Camp this year was a wonderful week where students and teachers challenged themselves to become better versions of themselves by embracing opportunities for growth. The week began with students looking at the skills and qualities of effective leaders. They identified leadership traits and qualities they believe they already have and traits they would like to develop further. The rest of the week involved students engaging in challenging adventures around the campsite encouraging both their interpersonal and personal skill development. Activities we were involved in, included The Amazing Race Challenge, kayaking, tunnelling, the Flying Fox and a Werribee Gorge walk. At night, students enjoyed a bonfire and dancing and a group trivia challenge run by the quiz master himself, Mr Malcolm. The students were all considerate and kind and the camp management expressed how impressed they were with our polite and friendly students. Well done to all the students who attended, your teachers are all very proud of you.
