Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and Cupcake Day

The PFA is once again holding a morning tea to raise money for the Cancer Council. It will be held next Monday (6th June), in the staff room after assembly (approx 9:30am).

Please join us for a cuppa and bring along a cash donation for the Cancer Council.

We are also including the students in this great event by selling cupcakes at recess on that day $2 each.

All proceeds from both events will go to the Cancer Council.

BAKERS - WE NEED YOU!

There are almost 600 students at the school, so we need a lot of cupcakes! If you are able to help bake a batch of cupcakes (or something for our morning tea) please add your name to https://signup.com/go/cMaCqZC (more details also available there about what cupcakes are needed, where to bring them etc.). You can also use this link to sign up to help sell cupcakes at recess on that day.

Farm fresh, free range egg fundraiser - orders close today!

The PFA has partnered with local business, Eggs Direct, to bring farm fresh, free range eggs direct to you at school.

Jumbo sized eggs (800g dozen) are available to order in Qkr today only, at the following prices:

Carton of 1 dozen (12) eggs - $7.50
Tray of 30 eggs - $16.50

For every carton and tray ordered, between $1.50 and $3.50 will come back to the school

Eggs will be delivered to school in refrigerated vehicles, within 24 to 72 hours from being produced on a Victorian farm. They have a shelf life of 5 to 6 weeks; they also have deep rich orange yolks bursting with flavour, so it's unlikely they'll be around for that long!

These Free Range eggs exceed Australian Standards, as the producer has 8000 hens per hectare. (Australian regulations require no more than 10,000 hens per hectare.)

Eggs will be available for collection from the Prep building (Truganini Rd side) between 3 - 4pm on Friday, 3rd June.

You’ll be able to use the eggs you buy to do some baking for Cupcake Day!

Election Day - thank you!

A HUGE thank you to the parents and staff listed below who baked some goodies for our cake stall, or gave their time to run the BBQ, on Saturday 21st May. We enjoyed beautiful sunny weather, a very steady line of customers, a day of lovely community connections … and raised over $4,000 for the school!

Thank you too to those of you who came along and supported us - we hope you enjoyed your delicious purchase, be it savoury or sweet.

Popcorn Day

Popcorn Day for students in Grades 3 - 6 will be held this Thursday (2nd June).

Popcorn will be available at lunch time for $1 a bag. Ingredients are gluten and dairy free.

We also need one more parent helper on the day. Please pop your name down at https://signup.com/go/cMaCqZC if you're available between 12 - 2pm and would like to come along.

PFA Meeting - Wednesday

Secondhand Uniform Stall

Upcoming dates for the secondhand uniform stall are Friday 10th June and Friday 15th July. You can find us between 3:15 - 3:45pm, near the office. Cash and card accepted.
