Staff Profile 

Hi everyone 

Thank you so much for your warm welcome since I have commenced working here.

I have been a School Chaplain for the past 4 years and have worked in primary and secondary schools.

 I have previously worked with youths at other organisations and worked as a Kids Coach and Mentor. I travelled to Adelaide, Tasmania and Singapore while doing Ministry Mission work for two years and absolutely loved it.

I am a mother of a Year 12 student who is counting down the days until school is done. I am also a mum to our dog who is huge, but thinks it is a tiny puppy when she wants to cuddle and lay on your lap, and most times thinks she is human. 

I was born in South Africa in the beautiful city of Cape Town.  I moved to Perth in 2004 and even though it has been so many years, I have still not managed to pick up the beautiful 'aussie accent'. We moved to Melbourne just a few years ago.

I have previously worked in the mobile phone industry for many years as an Account and Regional Manager and visited stores and trained up staff. A perk of that role was meeting amazing people and the young staff working in the stores and training and motivating them and helping them to be their best. The other perk as well was the hot chocolates, coffees, and muffins they used to have ready for me at the 25 stores I had to visit weekly.

Other than that, my interests are painting, cooking, and continuous study of information technology. 

I love cooking Laksa and Asian Cuisine.

Currently i am studying for a Diploma in Youth Work. I have completed a Bachelor in Ministry as well as a Cert IV in Cybersecurity. I look forward to supporting our students, staff, and school community. I believe that it takes a village to raise a child. I am so happy to be part of that village.
