House News -  Phoenix      

Phoenix year 12 Student, Britney St Mart, has introduced the Junior and Senior “Flame of the month” awards. These awards will be presented to a junior (year 7-9) and senior (year 10-12) Phoenix student in the first week of every month. 

The criteria for choosing the recipients include 

• Participation in homeroom
• Attendance
• Willingness to help around the College
• Participation in College events
• Academic improvement/application
• Attitude towards other Phoenix/College member

Both Phoenix staff and students are given the opportunity to nominate a Phoenix student for the monthly award.

I am very pleased to announce that the winners of the Flame of the Month of May are

• Laura El Bazi, PH1        Junior recipient
• Hannah Fagan, PH2     Senior recipient

Congratulations, to these two students for their outstanding efforts.

I look forward to seeing which students will be the future recipients of this award.
