Hockey Victoria Clinics

We have been lucky to have Kim and Kirsty from Hockey Victoria teaching Year 1 to Year 6 the amazing sport of hockey. All students have embraced the new skills and have surprised themselves how much fun hockey is to play.

Students have learnt:

  • how to hold a hockey stick correctly
  • how to dribble a hockey ball
  • how to stop a hockey ball
  • how to pass a hockey ball
  • the basic hockey terms and skills

There is one more week of hockey clinics, where students will be introduced to the rules and strategies of the game.

The hockey clinics have generated interest from a number of students, who have thoroughly enjoyed the clinics and learning the sport. Below is the website of the local hockey club, where details of how to enroll and participate in hockey.
