Learning Walks
At St. Joseph’s, we value the way that staff and families communicate with each other. We would like to continue our connections with families by inviting you to attend our first Learning Walk, this term.
What’s the purpose of our Learning Walks?
We aim to provide the opportunity and time for feedback for our parents, carers, grandparents and friends to gain a greater understanding of how learning and teaching happens at St. Joseph’s. We know that when families are connected to the school, the children benefit from this support by being more engaged in their learning.
How long does the Learning Walk take?
The Learning Walks will be no more than one hour. If you can only pop in for some of this time then that is fine. Our staff and students would love to see you! The teachers choose an area of the curriculum that they would like to show their families and friends, beginning with Phonics & Spelling this term.
You don’t need to register that you are coming - just come along at the time indicated for that Learning Walk!
What happens at a Learning Walk?
Learning Walk Focus: Literacy - Phonics & Spelling
Date/Time: Monday 23rd May at 9:00 am
