This week in Writing, we are learning to record important information for our information texts. 

VOCABULARY

Information texts: a text that shares facts about the topic. 

Record: write down. 

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Read a nonfiction book (true/real) with your child about a topic. When you find a fact, write it down, try and sort the information into the different parts, see the example below:
