The Sport and Rec excursion permission and payment notes are now available through Compass.
As per Compass Event: Students in Years 3-6 will be attending the Sport and Recreation Centre Camp from Wednesday the 22nd of November to Friday the 24th of November. Thanks to the generosity of our local 'Farming for Kids' donation, along with our amazing PT&F donation, we are pleased to advise that the cost of this excursion will be $100 per child. This amount can be paid in full or 4 instalments over the next 16 weeks to make budgeting easier for families during this difficult economic time. |
Fathers Day Stall
This year the stall will be held on Thursday the 31st of August. Please answer the additional Question section so we will know how many children will want to purchase additional gifts if they are available and also decline the event if you do not wish your child to purchase a gift.
The dental van team has had to postpone their visit to either Week 9 or Week 10 this term due to many of their staff being on sick leave. We will let you know exact dates as soon as we have them.
We still have some spaces in our upcoming 2024 Kindergarten class group. If you know of anyone wanting to enrol their child and enjoy the benefits of our amazing School Readiness Program in Term 4, please encourage them to call the front office for more information and to receive an enrolment pack. Word of mouth is by far the best form of advertising we have so please spread the word about our wonderful St Joseph's Quirindi school.
A big shout out to Clare Lee for taking books to cover over the last week. We really appreciate you taking up the challenge.
I still have 2 boxes of books that require covering so if anyone else is willing to step up to the task, please call the front office and we can go from there. We will provide everything you need. You can take the books home and cover at your leisure.
2023 Book Week occurs from 19th - 25th August. Our theme is READ, GROW, Inspire. Thursday, 24th August will be our Book Week celebration.
PLEASE NOTE: this is a change from the date previously advertised.
Students are invited to dress up as their favourite character from a book. Please remember to bring the book with you to show where your costume has come from!
Our Parade will occur at 9.15am on the 24th August, and we invite parents to join us in this celebration of literacy.
Please email quiadmin@arm.catholic.edu.au before 2pm if you need to change your child's afternoon travel arrangements as these changes are shared with the students at this time each day.
