PRAYER 

Generous, giving God, you loved the world so much, you sent us your Son Jesus to show us how to live. Help us to show our love for the world too, respecting and protecting it so that all people can enjoy it now, and in the future.

for..... the Confirmation candidates as they begin their preparation, and for all the people currently in Lisbon celebrating World Youth Day. 

LITURGY NEWS

Yesterday some of our Year 5 students had the opportunity to attend Reconciliation. Next Wednesday more of the Year 5 students will have the opportunity to attend Reconciliation and Year 1 will have a class visit from one of our Parish Priests. 

SACRAMENTS

Confirmation

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be conferred by Fr Chris in our St Nicholas Parish on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September. Notes to parents and carers have been sent out to eligible candidates via COMPASS. Please ensure you return all relevant documentation by Monday 14th August.

FAMILY MASS

A large number of families attended our first Family Mass for Term 3 and gathered afterwards for morning tea in the beautiful sunshine. A big thank you to Fr Chris for celebrating this Mass with us. We thank all our families who contributed and attended. Our next Family Mass will be held on Sunday 3rd September at 9.30am.

FATHER'S DAY - BREAKFAST & LITURGY

There will be a Father’s Day Breakfast from 7.30 am and Liturgy beginning at 9.15 am at St Nicholas School on Friday 1 September. We warmly welcome our Dads, Uncles, Granddads, Pops and families to join us for this celebration.
