Kildare Campus opening - St. Joseph's

After many years of planning, working and dreaming, St. Joseph's College have finally opened their Kildare Campus. Last week, 250 Year 7 students made history as the pioneering cohort to walk the hallowed grounds of the College's second campus at 194 Mt Terrick Rd.

St. Joseph's have reported that the students and staff have settled into their new surrounds with ease, and the buzz around the grounds and buildings is a joy to behold.

Each student received a welcome cup cake as a gift on their first day.

The new campus opening signifies a pivotal new chapter in the College's history, as they embark on the future as a multi-campus school and broaden their offerings as a leading educational facility in the Echuca Moama region.

Included in this first stage is an administration building, library, learning building for Year 7 students, staff offices, outdoor courts, outdoor gym equipment, passive green spaces, car park and bus drop-off areas.

Stage 2 capital works, which commenced last month, will include a technology building, science classrooms, art spaces, canteen, sports oval, a new learning space and more learning enhancement provision.

Stage 3 works will commence in 2025 and include a sports stadium, performing arts facility and Chapel.

This long-term project also includes a multi-million dollar upgrade of the Brigidine Campus in Dickson St which will commence in 2024.

On Saturday August 12, the College will open their doors for a Welcome morning to allow all members of the community to tour the campus and experience the state of the art facilities the Kildare campus has to offer.

One culture, one community, one college; multi campus.

Huge congratulations to all at St. Joseph's College for making the vision of Kildare Campus a reality!
