Run for Wellsprings
Huge Congratulations to Wellsprings Run Melbourne Team Robyn, Samar, Rowena, Sophea, Aimee, and Fatima on their participation in the recent Run Melbourne event on the 16th July. The team raised over and above their initial target, reaching an impressive $5509 in total. This listed Wellsprings as number 32 out of 270 charities involved in the fundraising event. The six runners devoted a huge amount of time to train before the event, promoting the fundraiser, encouraging friends, family and colleagues to donate. Our heartfelt thank yous go to them for their generous spirit and commitment to Wellsprings mission. I am really humbled by the amazing staff and volunteers we have at Wellsprings. As those who were not able to participate in the Run, did their part in promoting the event, fundraising and cheering their colleagues.
Wellsprings is such a special place because of the women involved as staff, volunteers, Board, participants and Trustees.
Thank you all, as such an event like today, is not just about the money but the love demonstrated by our champions willing to venture out there on a cold Sunday morning and Run for Wellsprings.

Wellsprings – High Tea
It was a pleasure to attend Wellsprings for Women’s fundraising last Saturday, where approximately 100 women, one man and one young gentleman, gathered at Killester College’s refurbished Kennedy Hall. Mayor of Dandenong Cr Eden Foster, a former student of Killester gave an emotional and insightful address about Wellspring’s value in the community for refugee women and the Honourable Gabrielle Williams, Minister for Mental Health, Ambulance Services and Minister for Treaty and First Peoples focused on social justice and inclusion, wonderful qualities that Wellsprings brings to the community. The food was plentiful, the crookery elegantly selected and the camaraderie joyful. Congratulations to Wellsprings.
