Winter Sport - ISA Finals and Semi-finals
This week sees Rugby teams playing their final away round – travelling to Orange to verse Kinross Wolaroi School. Understandably the weather is going to be quite chilly - a reminder that all Rugby players making the trip are to be wearing their College sports tracksuit and layer- up underneath to stay warm. Safe travels to all those families making the trip. For those boys catching the bus, I ask you are here at the College by 6:00 AM for a 6:15 AM departure.
Tennis finals will take place at Barker College or Love and Deuce Tennis Courts this Saturday 12 August. St Patrick’s College will have 4 of our 10 teams competing for the chance to be crowned ISA Champions. This is a wonderful achievement, and all players and coaches must be congratulated for their efforts thus far!
ISA Football semi-finals will take place this weekend with the First XI, Second XI, Third XI, Fourth XI, Fifth XI, 16A, 16B, 15A, 15B, 15C, 15D, 14B, 14C, 14D, 13A, 13B, 13C, 13D, 13E and 13F all contesting for a place in the grand finals which will take place at Blacktown International Sports Park on 19 August.
Good luck to all the above teams.
As we move into semi-finals and finals, I would like to take the opportunity to remind parents/carers of the ISA Code of Conduct. As adults we are role models for all young men. In order to ensure the players are set the appropriate example and our good relations with fellow ISA schools are maintained, can I encourage parents/carers to ensure that their support is both positive and within the guidelines stated in the Code of Conduct below. Thank you in anticipation of your cooperation and respect regarding these expectations.

Summer Sport Signups
To assist in the preparation for the Summer season, the College will need to determine the number of participants in the coming weeks.
Next week, students/families will be emailed a link that will enable them to sign up for a 2023/24 Summer sport. I ask that you please discuss this with your son/s along with the commitment required prior to having them complete the electronic form. May I ask that this form is completed by 9:00 AM Friday 18 August 2023.
Please note that this is not replacing the Co-curricular Choices Form for 2024 which will be made available in October this year for all families to complete.
