Students in Year 3/4 have been learning about the importance and impact of images in texts. They have explored this through books, film and advertising. Students have been identifying the techniques used, why the author may have used these techniques and how they made the reader feel.

In the coming weeks, students will be comparing texts from past and present using clips from shows such as The Jetsons and the Captain Underpants series as well as news reports, articles and a range of other texts.
