Healthy Kids Learn Better

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The school would like to remind you, hay fever season has started early and with a vengeance. The unpredictable weather is playing havoc with allergies.

The school does not have any hay fever treatment, apart from face & hand washing for student who present to the health centre with hay fever symptoms.

If you do not dose your child in the morning before school with an antihistamine, you will have your working hours interrupted by the health centre team requesting medication or collection of students.

If you can provide medication for the school to hold in case, you forget to medicate in the morning. It must be in original packaging with expiring date displayed. Download medication authority form and return to school.

Please assist us to keep your child at school and learning.

DOCUMENTATION

  • DOCUMENTATION - It is of utmost importance that our school is provided with up to date information. Documentation that is required has been sent to the relevant families, most recently via email. Please complete and return to the Health Centre as soon as possible.

MEDICATION

  • MEDICATION - Occasionally, students require medication while they are at school. In order to administer medication to students a Medication Authority form needs to be completed with a parent’s signature. Medications are to be provided to the school in original packaging with pharmacy labels intact. Tablet sleeves need to have the full name of the medication and expiry date intact.

AMBULANCE COVER

  • AMBULANCE COVER - A reminder, in the event of an emergency, either by accident / injury or illness, the college will call an ambulance. Please ensure your child is covered by ambulance cover if you do not have a Health Care Card. The costs incurred for an ambulance will be the responsibility of the respective parents/guardians.

COVID 19

Please be vigilant with COVID 19 sign & symptoms, if your child is unwell do not send them to school until the symptoms have resolved.

We need to keep each other safe so life can return to some sort of normality.

Many thanks,

The Health Centre Team
