On Friday the 21st of October, Ms DeBono and myself attended the presentation night for the Melton Library Service Short Story Competition. Throughout the night we were entertained with wonderful descriptions of the stories that were submitted, and got to witness the eagerness with which the students (and adults) collected the awards they were presented.

We ourselves represented Brookside College, as recipients of an award for the most entrants for the Junior B (Grades 4- 6), for which we received a $300.00 prize.
