We are now accepting applications for

Camps, Sports & Excursions Fund (CSEF) 2023

Eligible families will receive $225 per student, paid into their family account at Ballarat High School commencing from March 2023. These funds can then be allocated to school charges, according to the policy and parent preferences.

Parents/students holding a means-tested concession card valid on Monday 30th January 2023 or Monday 24th April 2023 may be eligible. Foster parents, Veterans Affairs Gold Card holders and students with a Youth Allowance card, may also be eligible.

Please note: Payments do not cease at age 16, but continue whilst the student is attending secondary school i.e. Years 7-12.

Completed forms, with a copy of your Centrelink Card, should be submitted to the General Office. Please submit a new application each school year, to ensure details are current.

STATE SCHOOLS' RELIEF (SSR) 2023

Year 7 Uniform Package

Students who were eligible for Camps, Sports and Excursion Funding in 2022 and are entering Year 7 in 2023, may qualify for the State Schools' Relief Year 7 Uniform Package.

State Government funding has been provided to State Schools' Relief to support parents in providing basic uniform garments and school shoes for eligible Year 7 students.

In summary:

students commencing Year 7 in 2023 and were eligible for CSEF in 2022
parents must apply through Ballarat High School, not primary school
basic uniform items and a pair of school shoes are offered
applications and vouchers will be administered by State Schools' Relief
vouchers will be emailed to families for redemption at their nominated retail supplier
vouchers will have an expiry date - the vouchers must be redeemed by this expiry date
school shoes will be delivered to the School and families will be notified via email for collection
eligibility is the same as the CSEF.
