Senior School

Farewell Class of 2022

The Year 12s are so close to the end of their secondary schooling! It’s been a time for fun and farewells in Senior School these past few weeks with dress ups days and a wonderful Celebration Day.

Students, families and staff came together to celebrate with a beautiful breakfast, final whole school assembly and a wonderful Valedictory Dinner at The Centre Ivanhoe. Thank you to the Mont Albert and Surrey Hills Rotary Club, David Winter (BreadStreet) and the PFA for their contributions to making the day extra special, and a special thanks to Zaiga Bendrups for the awesome year book that the Year 12s can treasure for years to come.

It is with heavy hearts that we farewell the fabulous group of people who make up the Koonung Class of 2022. We will miss their smiling faces and all the good times we’ve shared. It has been heart-warming to watch them enjoy their last weeks together and embrace the final moments of life at Koonung. We wish them luck in their exams and everything that comes next!

Well done  Sankara Santosa!

We love it when our students volunteer in the wider community. Well done to Sankara who is no stranger to volunteering.

Santara is a current year 10 student at Koonung  Secondary College.

As well as sitting on an advisory committee at the Royal Children's Hospital assisting researchers, Santara volunteers on the Whitehorse Youth Representative Committee 2022 (WHRC).
