Respectful Relationships Day

Friday 28th October

The students of Robbie Mac will be participating in their annual Respectful Relationships day. On this day, students will be split into classes across the school and engage in lessons from the RR program covering topics including help-seeking, problem solving, stereotypes, emotional literacy and personal strengths.

This day also coincides with Day for Daniel, which is a day to honour the memory of Daniel Morcombe.  In an age appropriate manner, it is a day to start a conversation with children about personal safety. As part of Day for Daniel, students are encouraged to wear a touch of red to school on this day and bring along a gold coin that will be donated to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. More information about this day can be found at: https://danielmorcombe.com.au/day-for-daniel/

Many thanks for your continued support for our Wellbeing program at Robbie Mac.

TRAFFIC SAFETYSUN SMART

WHEN CROSSING THE ROAD

If your child walks to school unsupervised by an adult, either on their own or with other children, please make sure they know to check traffic from the opposite direction in the event a car stops to let them cross the road.

Just because a car coming from one direction stops to let them cross, doesn’t mean cars coming from the opposite direction will also stop for them.

Children walking to school need to do so safely and so good traffic sense is vitally important.

Art Smocks

If your child hasn't already got an art smock can you please make sure they have one for next term. It doesn't have to be a art smock, it can be an old t- shirt, business shirt.

Thank you Mrs Cassidy
