Illuminate Campaign Update
Our students seek a learning environment that inspires them to be the best they can be. Within our community, theIlluminate Campaign supports Friends’ to continue providing a world class education for our students.
The Board of Governors set a fundraising goal of $2M to contribute $1.5M towards the shortfall in the building costs and $500K towards our scholarship and bursary programs. Notwithstanding the global pandemic and recent economic challenges, early support and donations to date exceed $1.32M. We are sincerely humbled by this support and thank all who have contributed.

The Campaign continues until the end of this year. If you haven’t already donated, please consider doing so now. Every gift is appreciated, no matter the size and we need everyone’s help to reach our goal. The School, founded on philanthropy in 1887, simply would not exist if not for the generosity of early supporters. Like every other leading independent school, Friends’ continues to rely on philanthropy from its community for vital transformational changes that would otherwise not be possible.

Tasmanian Whisky night for the Illuminate Campaign
On the night of 20 August we were delighted to welcome 15 of Tasmania's premier distilleries to our Tasmanian Whisky Tasting Night at The Farrall Centre, in support of the Illuminate Campaign. It was a hugely successful night, with over 100 tickets sold and many wonderful prizes donated to our live auction on the night. We are very grateful for everyone's support in what was a memorable evening.
