Prep Update

Upcoming Learning

During the next fortnight (weeks 3 and 4 of term 4) students will be undertaking learning in following areas:

Reading	We are learning how sentences are formed and to include interesting vocabulary
Writing	We are learning to write narratives
Maths	We are learning to identify numerals as number words We are learning to share items equally between groups
Science Inquiry	We are learning to understand forces, looking at pull and motion We are looking at the evolution of Toys, looking at toys from 1901- 1980
SEL	We are learning to understand parts of the brain using the book Your Fantastic Elastic Brain
Phonics/Spelling	We are learning to flip the vowel sound- o

-Please continue to practice all oxford words and read every night

-Don't forget your library day to bring along your books.

Hats

A reminder that hats are required for students to play outside in term 4. These must sunsmart hats such as broad brim or bucket .
