Basketball Registration 2021
The ISA are currently planning the Summer Season sport for 2021-2022. At this stage they are presenting various option to accommodate ongoing and hopefully easing restrictions.
We are hoping that in Term 4 St Pius X will be able to run basketball matches at Oxford Falls. In the hope that sport is allowed to be played we need to start organising teams. We are endeavouring to include all students who wish to play basketball in a team. PLEASE REGISTER USING THE LINK BELOW:
In the unlikely event that there is no ISA competition, we plan to run an internal house competition on Saturdays in Term 4 if COVID restrictions allow.
Please DO NOT register if you cannot commit to the full season. If you register to play basketball you are expected to attend all training sessions and games.

CSDA Debating
Our Year 12 Debaters have decided to forfeit their upcoming Quarterfinal event. The Zoom experience in isolation from each other does not appeal to the students and I support their leadership in determining what is best for their own well-being as we move through the Simulated Trials and towards preparation for the HSC.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank this wonderful team of Year 12 debaters some of whom have been debating since Year 7. They are a strong group of young men who have developed poise and strength of mind over the past 6 years. They can speak well on any topic presented to them at short notice and represent the College showing courtesy, humility and respect. They are truly a great representation of Pius Men!
Our Year 11 and Year 9 debaters will participate in their Quarterfinal events next term.
