Wellbeing at Marlborough

From Melissa Moore

Hello everyone,

Well here we are Lockdown 6.0.  It sure is difficult to manage everything and stay cool, calm and collected.  It is important to remember to try and make the best of these difficult times, enjoy the slower pace, and remember to spend some time in self-care.  Our children will take the lead from us!

To help manage the inevitable meltdowns from all in your household, below is a tip to try to each day.  Remember routine is still important, as much as possible in these difficult circumstances, i.e. getting up at the same time each morning and dedicating some time to exercise or physical activity.  A good tip is to have screen time and green time.

By this I mean try as much as possible to have equal time off screens and get outside or if you don’t have an outside space to do something that is not on a screen, cooking etc.

I have also attached a book that is well worth a read and may help in overcoming some feelings that may be happening in your household.

I do appreciate this is a challenge during these times.  We can only do the best that we can with what we have!!!!

If you need to get in touch, please do email Nat at the office and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Stay Mindful.

Regards Mel
