Wellbeing

Dear Parents,

Yesterday we focused on R U OK? Day to encourage our students to be self aware about their own feelings and those of others.

Of course children are not expected to fix the problems of another or know the best way to help and support them.......

But children can listen to what they’re saying, let them know that they care and to tell a parent, trusted adult or a teacher if they’re worried about someone.

With one week before the holidays, I really wanted to share these positive thoughts about the impacts of Lockdowns on our kids.

Never Give Up

Yes, I know that Father's day has been and gone, but really it should be recognised every day. In the spirit of the recent Olympics and Paralympics, Dads, you may enjoy this 'motivational clip' which to me is more about a father's love for his son than the actual athlete. I hope it resonates with you. Enjoy!
