Carnival of Cross Country

Cross Country - Wrap Up

At about 10.00am, the dark clouds looked ominous, and the heavens threatened to open.  We decided to bravely continue the preparation for Cross Country and our plans largely came to fruition.  The track was muddy, the markers set, and the coffee van bogged – we were ready to go.  Families gathered as students from Prep to Grade 6 tested their aerobic running capacities.  The participation was very high, easily the best in recent years.

Thank you to Mrs Andrews, Ms Fitzgerald, Mrs Belbin, Mr Hallsworth and Mr Westwood.  It was a fantastic event, drenched in John Paul II spirit, seen in the rousing support of Riley Morgan across the finish line.  Thank you to the MacKillop students who joined us, as markers, runners and any other job we gave them!

The top three place getters in each Grade are below.  Please note that the top three from Grades 3-6 will also represent the school in the Inter-school Cross Country Carnival on
