Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC)

Students from Grades 3 to 6 are invited to participate in the Australian Mathematics Competition.  The AMC is an engaging 30-problem competition that demonstrates the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives; it is open to students in years 3 to 12. Australia’s leading educators and academics, with a deep understanding of our national curriculum standards, actively design the unique AMC problems each year.

The AMC will occur at John Paul II on Wednesday 3 to Friday 5 August 2022.  Students can let Mr Gill know they are interested or parents can email through an entry to brendan.gill@catholic.tas.edu.au We will be enrolling students on the 30 June so please ensure contact is made by 29 June.

Lego Man fish needs a bigger tank!

The children from Ludo have noticed that their pet fish Lego man needs a bigger tank. Lego man has grown SO MUCH!

The children would like to know if anyone within the John Paul ll community have a big tank that they no longer need and would like to donate it to us please. Lego man is a goldfish.
