Grade 4 and 5 Camp

Well, what a 3 days we had on the Grade 4 and 5 camp to Edmund Rice Centre, Amberley, in Lower Plenty.

The 3 days were full of little sleep, exciting activities and fabulous food.

The activities the students participated in were low ropes course, archery, initiative activities, scavenger hunt, trivia, talent show, games, painting tote bags, river walk. Students also explored the beautiful natural surroundings of the camp and learnt about Indigenous perspectives in the local environment. They developed important skills of independence, resilience and respect for others and the environment around them. 

Mackellar would like to thank the wonderful Edmund Rice Camps staff and volunteers for their organisation, care and support of our students and hospitality. The nurturing environment they provided enabled our students to feel supported in achieving positive outcomes in all camp activities.
