Masks for Years 3 to 6

Thank you to families who have been reaching out to teachers regarding their preference for mask-wearing for their children. Please remember to let teachers know, particularly if you would prefer your child is not given a mask to wear in the classroom.

Barton Reserve Drop Off and Pick up

Even with the wet and cold weather, we ask that adults to come across Barton Reserve to meet their children at the end of the school day. It is very difficult to identify parents who are sitting in their cars across Barton Reserve. Unless we already know that they are walking home on their own, children should only be leaving the gate when the adult collecting them is sighted.  At no times should children be crossing Barton Street without the company of an adult. Thank you for helping us to keep your children safe.

2024 Intentions

At we begin to plan for staffing in 2024, I encourage families to let us know if they are planning to move schools at the end of the year. Remember that we have a term-in-advance policy, and whilst you still have plenty of time to let us know, we appreciate knowing as soon as you are able.

Reception Enrolments – Urgent

For all current families, please note that we need to know immediately if you have any children that are yet to be enrolled to start Reception next year. Please call the school office this week to speak with Monique Tabuena so that we can accommodate them. If you have any friends or family members who are planning to enrol, please also ask them to contact us in the school office as soon as possible. In addition, we have been enrolling for 2024 this year, and encourage families to enrol their 3yo children now if they have not done so in order to guarantee your place.
