Youth Mass

Last Saturday evening at the 5.30 pm Mass at Our Lady of Dolours, the Youth Mass Program was reinstated. The first of the monthly celebrations was hosted by Mercy College, with a number of students from Pius filling roles as readers and Eucharistic Ministers. At the conclusion of Mass, Eamon Boyle of Year 11 provided a brief outline to the Parish on all recent and upcoming events. St Pius X College looks forward to hosting the next Youth Mass on 3 September. All students are welcome to attend and we thank the Parish for hosting a sausage sizzle for students at the conclusion of Mass.

Year 12 Retreats

Our Year 12 students are quickly approaching the end of their Trial HSC examinations. For many, the pay off for the months of study has been the knowledge that their retreat takes place at the conclusion of their exam period. Staff have worked at ensuring that each student, regardless of their retreat venue, will have an enriching and fulfilling experience that is the culmination of their time at the College. Time will be given for the young men of Year 12 to consider the relationships in their lives, most notably the relationships they have with their peers and family, as well as their faith life. All Year 12 students must ensure that they have completed the required details related to RAHT testing prior to their retreat.
