Year 4 Retreat Day

The Year 4 students went on a retreat to learn more about First Holy Communion at St Francis Xavier Parish. They were welcomed by the wonderful 24:7 School Ministry who taught them all about the Sacrament of the Eucharist in a fun, interactive and engaging way. Students participated in a ‘Grapes of the Vine’ activity with each grape representing Baptism, Reconciliation, ways to become Saints and Communion. They were also treated to a re-enactment of the Last Supper.

We keep in our prayers all the children in our Parish preparing to receive their First Holy Communion at St Francis Xavier Church this weekend. 

The Sacrament of First Holy Communion for Salvado Catholic College students is on Sunday 21 August at 9:30am at St Francis Xavier Church.
