INDONESIAN VISITORS

It has been a lonely couple of years, but with restrictions easing, international educational tours and exchange programs are commencing once again. We were lucky enough to welcome our first international visitors from Indonesia in early September. Rosie and Wiwit have come from a school in Jakarta and their students will be joining us, next year, for a home stay and school tour.

YEAR 7 JAPANESE

Our Year 7 students have come such a long way this year. They are now able to read and write in a completely different alphabet (Hiragana).  This is no small feat, and all students should be very proud of their efforts.

This term, students have been creating bilingual texts about a variety of animals. Here are some examples of their wonderful work.

YEAR 10 INDONESIAN ORAL PRESENTATION

Our Year 10 Indonesian students have been busy learning all about the vocabulary and grammar associated with a visit to the doctor. For their oral assessment this term they role played a hypothetical doctors visit. Below, you can see them busily preparing and using the props for their rehearsal.
