Semester 2 Basketball

Expression of interest for Semester 2 basketball are now being sought.

Parents are reminded that all existing players who want to continue to play, need to complete and return this form (via email or to the front office).

Year 4/5 GS Raptors

The GS Raptors had a tough match against the undefeated Brooks Warriors Thursday afternoon going down 12-34.  Despite the score, the Raptors pressured the Warriors all match and forced a number of turnovers.  It was great to see the team never give up and keep trying until the end.  Jayden had a high scoring game, Jacob and Oscar displayed their dribbling skills and moved the ball forward. Blake, Downey and Lorenzo applied solid defensive pressure all game.

Year 2/3 GS Rockets

The GS Rockets had a solid 24-2 win Wednesday afternoon.  Tennyson had a standout game with plenty of steals, full court dribbling and two baskets.  Eden played a great team game by helping her teammates score baskets, Hamish used his dribbling skills to move the ball forward on multiple occasions and Nate and Layla were valuable around the court with plenty of interceptions and steals.

Scorers: Eden (12 pts), Nate (6 pts), Tennyson (4 pts) and Layla (2 pts).
