Careers Camp

On Wednesday the 16th of March our Senior School students packed their bags and were off on a Careers Camp in Warrnambool with our cluster schools Goroke and Balmoral. We stayed on residence at Deakin University.

Our first day of our combined careers camp was very successful. We toured the Deakin University campus and had a study skill session before enjoying ten pin bowling. After a BBQ dinner and quick glance of the AFL score, Phil from CEP joined us to run a few night time activities.

On our second day we were joined by Phil again in the morning before a visit to South West TAFE. We branched out to find some lunch before heading back to the TAFE and touring Middfield Meats. We concluded our afternoon with time spent at the beach swimming, playing footy and turning Adam into a merman before having some pizza to conclude our evening.

The next morning we spent more time with the MODsquad who took us through a nursing, drone and marine activity. The hands on experience was a great way to conclude our time at Deakin. After a quick bite to eat and goodbyes to our fellow cluster schools, we were back on the bus to journey home.

Year 7 & 8 Pre Camp Team Bonding

Edenhope College Year 7 & 8 students welcomed their peers from Goroke and Balmoral for some team building activities prior to their combined camp later this week.

Well done to our Advance students who helped plan and run some of these activities!

Advance Fundraiser Pool Party

The smiles say it all ... students had a fantastic time at the lunchtime pool party today! A big thank you to the Advance class for the fabulous fundraising idea and all staff who helped out!!!

Senior School Formal

After our cluster Formal unfortunately being cancelled last year, it was an absolute pleasure creating a special evening for all the Year 11/12 students from Edenhope, Goroke and Balmoral.

This year our Formal was held at the Edenhope Library in the hall space overlooking the lake. It was such an amazing venue to host the first of many cluster events. This event was funded by the Shire's FReeZA funding, which we are very grateful for. The teachers, students and their guests had a 2-course meal from Kings Katering followed by a lot of dancing. It was a spectacular evening shared by all. Our students all scrubbed up very nicely.

A very special thank you to all the senior students and Year 8 students who came along on Friday afternoon to assist with setting up including Mrs Heffernan, Mr Walker, and Miss Coventry.
