Kindness Culture promotes inclusiveness, respect and community belonging. Our 2022 theme offers an opportunity to learn about kindness, and demonstrate kind behaviour. Kindness plays an important role in

bullying prevention. Students have been participating in the National Day of Action against bullying and violence 'Be a buddy not a bully' colouring in and poster competition. Prizes kindly donated by Edenhope Post Office, The Coffee Shop, Lake Wallace Hotel and Caltex Edenhope were presented at our assembly. We sincerely thank these businesses for their generous support.

Harmony Week

Harmony Week ran from March 21-25 and celebrated Australia's cultural diversity. It's about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone.

Students were involved in learning activities around these themes during the week. On Friday (March 25) Edenhope College celebrated Harmony Day - students were invited to wear casual clothes to show their support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia.

Bowls Win

Over four weeks in Feb/March, the Edenhope Bowls Club ran a social bowls competition. Shayne Williams, George and myself entered a team for the school and ended up winning the bowls competition for 2022. George and I decided that our win of $400 would be tout towards some new Lego for students to play with in the library at lunch time. A special thanks to Rachel Munro and Toyworld in Horsham for organising / supplying the Lego for us. Also thanks to Alex who helped us unpack the Lego!

Catch Up

This year we are running 'Catch Up'  to support our secondary students to achieve their academic best. We know that life gets busy and you don't always have time to do homework outside of school. Or maybe you're finding a particular topic in class challenging and need some extra time to get your head around it.

On Monday & Thursday lunchtimes, teachers will be available in the Catch Up room to help any secondary students that would like a hand. Bring your lunch and your work and catch up! We're here to help.
