Swimming Sports

Today, 27 students from years 3-6 represented the school at the Ivanhoe District Sport Swimming Carnival, at WaterMarc in Greensborough.
They all competed very well in what was a very competitive meet. All distances were 50 metres and included individual freestyle, back stroke, breast stroke and Butterfly as well as 4x50m freestyle relay and medley relay.
We had some very good results, and congratulations to all those students that finished in the top two for their event. These students will go on to represent the school at the Division Swimming Championship later in the month.
Thanks to all the parent helpers that were there to day, and also to Sarah Emerson and Pam Wright how did a great job marshalling the students for their events.
Good luck to all those through to the Division meet.
