Trades Skills Centre Cafe

The North Campus Cafe are open every Thursday from 10:30am to 1:30pm and serve to the public as well as Year 10-12 students staff. Our exciting winter menu will be released soon!

Tyre Reef

Year 10 VM students have started their Term 1 Sustainability project, recycling tyres to provide habitat for small fish, yabbies and insects in the North Campus dam. A massive thank you goes tour Agriculture and Sustainability genius Mr David Goschnick, who invented this concept. The students will complete this over the next two weeks and will add waterbird nest boxes to these reefs later this year.

Moonlit Sanctuary

Our Years 10, 11 & 12 VM students attended their first trip to the wonderful Moonlit Sanctuary in Pearcedale.

They toured the park and looked at new projects they will be working on as a part of our community partnership with the sanctuary. We are looking forwarded to the next two sessions at the sanctuary later this term.

Plastic Granulator

The wonderful Mrs Ulli Austermann has been doing an incredible job running the Senior Campus Café each Thursday with our Year 12 VM students. This gives our students real life experience working in a hospitality setting and enables them to build their skills.

Money raised over the last two years has been put towards purchasing a plastic granulator through ‘Precious Plastics’ and this will become a major component of the VM program in the future. A huge thanks goes to Ulli for her dedication to the Café and to Courtney Clowes (business manager) for helping to get this project off the ground.
