Secondary Athletics Carnival

Next Tuesday 28 February the Secondary Athletics Carnival will be held at Mornington Athletics Track, 350 Dunns Road Mornington. 

 

Bayside staff will attend and run/supervise the events. Students will travel to and from the venues via school buses. Students are encouraged to wear house colours on this day. If students do not have house colours, they must wear their PE uniform. Free dress is not acceptable. All house-colour clothing must comply with College expectations and cover shoulders to knees for sun safety. College broad-brimmed hats must be worn. Students should come wearing sunscreen, bring a drink bottle, lunch and any medication required to manage conditions such as Asthma.

Community Morning Tea

All parents, carers, staff and members of the Bayside community are invited to join the Bayside Family Network for morning tea on Wednesday 1 March from 9am-10am in the Primary G-Block foyer. Come along to enjoy light refreshments together and meet other parents within the College community. Children welcome!

New Parents Dinner

New families to Bayside Christian College are warmly invited to our 2023 New Parents' Dinner, which is taking place on Thursday 2 March from 6:30pm-8:30pm. Please come along to share a meal together in G-Block (Primary Gymnasium). This is a great opportunity to meet other parents, Bayside staff and Board members in a friendly, informal setting. Parent/Teacher Conferences

Our Primary Parent/Teacher conferences and Secondary Parent/Student/Teacher Conferences will take place on Tuesday 7 March and Wednesday 8 March. This is a wonderful opportunity to catch up and share our partnership to discuss the progress and plans for best supporting your children's education, both from school and from home. Please refer to the Leadership section for further information.

Trades Skills Centre Cafe

The North Campus Cafe are open every Thursday from 10:30am to 1:30pm and serve to the public as well as Year 10-12 students staff. Our exciting winter menu will be released soon!

Prayer Group

The Bayside Prayer Group meet every Monday morning from 9am to 9.30am in the Community Room (M2) to pray for the College. Parents, carers and staff are welcome to join at any time. The group also frequently meet at 7.30pm on Monday evenings to walk around the College grounds. For more information please contact Bek Shelling on 0403 804 972.

Community Playgroup

The Bayside Community Playgroup runs every Thursday from 9am to 10:30am for children aged 0-5 years for indoor play, craft, painting, creative play, story time and sing-a-long while parents and carers supervise playtime and enjoy a cuppa and light morning tea. Cost is $2 per child to attend each week. Please pack a nut-free snack and water bottle for your child. No booking required.

Aladdin Update

Aladdin Rehearsals are in full swing every Monday and Wednesday night form 3:30 -5:30 the cast has been busy learning Choreography and Blocking for the show. We have a lot of fun singing and dancing and we have a very talented group of students involved. We are looking for volunteers to help sew costumes and source props and sets. If you are willing to help in any capacity at all please email

We are also looking for donations of old beaded jewellery, flowy skirts or haram pants, material zip-up shopping bags, chiffon scarfs, baskets, and vests or $$ to purchase these items with. Please leave donations at reception clearly marked for Aladdin.
