The CC Sport program aims to engage students in a range of activities throughout their schooling while developing their appreciation for sports.
Increasingly, data analysis has been applied to many schools' Cocurricular programs, creating a ‘win at all cost’ mentality. Unfortunately, this can result in sacrificing good sportsmanship in order to gain a competitive edge.
Sports and activities should be enjoyable for all, and at Clayfield College, sportsmanship is always rewarded over results. An admirable sportsperson embodies fairness, ethics, respect and a sense of fellowship, and these qualities shine in the best sportsperson during a loss. Students are encouraged to pursue their own version of excellence while exemplifying sportsmanship.
Attendance at Training
I ask that all students commit to their attendance at training and present ready for games, home or away and lead-up meets. Representing the College is something to be valued. Being a team member who can be depended on entails sacrifice and commitment, regardless of the level or activity.
Uniform
We want to ensure we represent the College and ourselves on and off the field maintaining highest standards.
