Junior School Update

2023 in Junior School …. here we come!

The Year 3 to Year 6 classes have launched into Term One with a bang! Students have been getting to know their Learning Space environment, students and teachers, expectations, and routines.

Year 3 students have focussed significantly on UR Strong and Health over the past 2 weeks, their personal identity to be specific. The self-portrait artwork on the walls is impressive.

Year 4 students have engaged in several conversations and activities in All About Me sphere which has been enjoyed by all. On a different tangent, Place Value in Mathematics has also been investigated.

Year 5 Learning Space has invested energy in Economics and Business to date with a topic of needs and wants. Personal identity and recognising our unique differences, gifts and talents has also been a great way to start the Year 5 journey.

Year 6 has been very busy and will continue to do so. Establishing leadership teams, rosters, roles and responsibilities with House Captains, Canteen, Compost and Golden Broom action groups a priority. Students have also recently contributed to the design of the Year 6 Primary polo shirts. We look forward to seeing the finished product!

We look forward to the teaching and learning ahead!
