Year 7 Breakfast

On the 14th of March, University High School held their yearly Year 7 Johnston Family breakfast. Both my Mum and Dad were very eager to be shown around the massive labyrinth of a school, where I would be hosting our tour. Having to leave so early at 7:15am was not very pleasant as I was still half asleep, but the weather was fine and sunny so that helped. 

Luckily, the breakfast supplied us with sugar filled muffins, hot chocolate and jam donuts. After a speech from Mr Rogers, the tour finally began and we were off to god knows where! From the portables, to the sub schools, to the labs, to the office, I felt too confident with myself and attempted to show my parents every nook and cranny of Uni High, meeting my friends along the way. 

Overall, I think the Breakfast was nice and is a good way for parents to make friends with other parents and force their kids to be friends. I liked how I wasn’t alone and how my friends came as well. University High school is amazing and I can’t wait to see what's next!
